All orders are promptly prepared and shipped upon receipt of your order. If your order is placed before noon, we make every effort to dispatch it on the same day. Please be aware that during busy periods and public holidays, some delays may occur.
We entrust the delivery of all our parcels to Australia Post. Once your order leaves our premises, it becomes the responsibility of Australia Post. The Honey Pot and Bruny Island Honey have no control over the delivery speed. Once your order is packed and dispatched, you will receive a tracking notification email from Australia Post.
Upon making a purchase, you will automatically receive an email confirmation. Additionally, you will receive an “order complete” email once Australia Post has picked up your parcel. These notifications are sent automatically, so if you do not receive them, kindly reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Shipping costs are determined at checkout using Australia Post rates, which are weight-dependent.
We take great care in packaging and dispatching your orders to ensure they reach you in the best possible condition. However, occasionally mishandling may occur during transit, leading to unsatisfactory product conditions. If you receive damaged products, please email us at email@example.com with evidence of the damage and your order number.
To safeguard the quality of our honey, we prefer to use Australia Post’s “signature on delivery” method. Honey is a food product and is sensitive to heat; hence, it cannot be left in direct sunlight. If you prefer to have your parcel “safe dropped,” please indicate this in the comments section during checkout. Please be aware that requesting a “safe drop” is at your own risk and will not qualify for a refund or return if the honey is overheated during delivery. All our products are shipped using home-compostable, zero-waste packaging.
Returns and refunds are not possible for change of mind or opened products. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or return based on our discretion and reasoning.
International: Certain countries have weight restrictions of 2kgs for honey due to import regulations. If your delivery address is not recognized at checkout, it may exceed the weight limit for that destination. In such cases, please adjust your cart to keep the total weight under 2kgs. Please note that Australian honey cannot be shipped to New Zealand.
Domestic: Due to strict Biosecurity regulations, we are unable to send honey to Western Australia or Kangaroo Island. However, our honey & mustard, cosmetics creams, lip balms and other products are in fact permitted.
All prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable. We accept Visa/Mastercard via the Stripe payment gateway. Please note that Stripe is a third-party company that securely handles your payment details, and we do not store such information. The Honey Pot and Bruny Island Honey retain ownership of the goods until full payment is received.
